Pipette service plans

Silver, Gold, Platinum. Pick your level of proof.

Every plan begins with a complete preventive maintenance service. What separates them is how many measurements we take, at how many volumes, and how much documentation comes back.

The three plans

What each tier actually measures.

Read the measurement counts, not the tier name. That is what determines whether the certificate answers the question your quality system is asking.

Silver

Preventive Maintenance Calibration

Functional verification

The maintenance foundation every pipette needs. A complete preventive maintenance service that restores mechanical condition and verifies the instrument functions correctly across its range — built for teaching labs and routine research where a full multi-point measurement record is not required.

Quote the Silver plan

Single-channel

  • Complete PM inspection
  • Functional testing across range

Multi-channel

  • Complete PM inspection
  • Functional testing, all channels

Documentation

  • Service record
  • Calibration label with due date

Recommended for: Non-GLP research laboratories, teaching laboratories, and routine academic use.

Gold

Most chosen

Enhanced Performance Calibration

8 measurements

Preventive maintenance plus a documented gravimetric calibration at high and low volume, producing a certificate with detailed results. The right level for laboratories that need real confidence in accuracy and precision without a full three-point protocol on every asset.

Quote the Gold plan

Single-channel

  • 4 samples at high volume
  • 4 samples at low volume

Multi-channel

  • 3 samples at high volume, per channel
  • 3 samples at low volume, per channel

Documentation

  • Calibration certificate with detailed results
  • As-found and as-left data
  • Calibration label with due date

Recommended for: Laboratories requiring increased confidence in pipette accuracy and precision.

Platinum

Comprehensive Calibration Service

15 measurements

Full three-point gravimetric calibration at low, mid, and high volume with five measurements at each point, a detailed calibration report, and measurement uncertainty on request. This is the protocol for regulated environments where the calibration record itself is part of the quality system.

Standards & compliance

The paperwork is half the deliverable.

A calibration you cannot defend is a calibration you did not really buy. Every protocol we run is built against the standards your auditor already knows.

A vernier caliper measuring a component, a traceable dimensional standard

Traceability is a chain — every link of ours is documented.

All calibrations are performed in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 8655-1, and ISO 8655-2. Our calibration software is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant.

ISO/IEC 17025Testing and calibration laboratory competence
The general requirements for the competence, impartiality, and consistent operation of calibration laboratories. It governs how we control methods, equipment, traceability, and reporting.
ISO 8655-1Piston-operated volumetric apparatus — terminology and requirements
Defines the terminology, general requirements, and maximum permissible errors for piston-operated volumetric apparatus, including the accuracy and precision limits a pipette must meet.
ISO 8655-2Piston-operated pipettes
The specific requirements and test methods for piston-operated pipettes — the protocol that determines how many measurements are taken, at which volumes, and under what conditions.
21 CFR Part 11Electronic records and electronic signatures
Our calibration software is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant, so the electronic records and signatures behind your certificates hold up in a regulated environment.

What laboratories say

Trusted where the record has to hold up.

Quality managers, lab directors, and core facility staff across the Delaware Valley and beyond.

“The as-found data is what sold us. Our previous vendor adjusted first and reported second, which left us with nothing to scope an impact assessment against. That does not happen anymore.”

QMQA ManagerPharmaceutical manufacturer, Southern New Jersey

“Two hundred and forty pipettes across four buildings, done on-site in two days, with the asset register reconciled before they left. Our instruments never left our custody.”

LOLab Operations DirectorAcademic research institution, Philadelphia

“We had an out-of-tolerance finding two weeks before an inspection. They were on-site the next morning with documentation we could attach to the CAPA the same day.”

CLClinical Lab SupervisorReference laboratory, Delaware Valley

“Having one provider on one interval is the reason our satellite sites are finally aligned with the main lab. One schedule, one certificate format, one person to call.”

Not sure which tier fits?

Send us your instrument list and tell us what the results are used for. We'll recommend a tier per instrument and explain why — including where a cheaper tier is genuinely enough.
